Regular commenter Sara went to O! Canada! (and many other places) on her recent vacation. She sent me this postage-paid postcard, telling me of her great surprise and delight at Niagara Falls.  It’s dated July 1 and just arrived today on the 28th.  I can’t decide if it’s an international thing, or perhaps the wrong zip code.  The last two digits written are crossed off in inky black and re-written.  Perhaps some postal employees went the extra mile to make sure I got this?

This postcard’s reverse has the recipe for this delicious-looking Sour Cream Blackberry Pie.  It also tells me that I can purchase the Norske Nook Book of Pies cookbook at any restaurant location, or online. There seem to be four locations, all of which are a very long drive from Portland, Oregon.

This is a very nice letter pressed postcard from regular commenter Sara, who mailed this to commemorate the return of Summer Sara.  I’m a fan of Summer Sara, so I am happy to see her return.

This is from Sara, the usual Minnesota postcard candidate. She reports that there are two weeks left in the semester.  Hooray!

She also notes that she is dubious about this book description.

Friend Julie sent me a thank you card for inviting her to Easter/Greek Easter.  (It must have been the cake.)  As usual, I was wowed by her card making abilities.

My friend Maureen is crafty.  And sometimes it results in mail for me.  She thought I would enjoy this odd confluence of things. I did.

A postcard from Friend Sue, she of the recent visit.  She got this in, you guessed it: Nashville.  There she visited Graceland.

This one is a church that is a replica of a church in Norway that the usual Minnesota source for postcards has actually visited.

My friend Kelly vacationed in Detroit recently and sent me this postcard from the Motown Museum. Both Detroit and the Motown Museum are places I would like to visit.

In thanks for the baby blanket I made for Baby M, I received this delightful card.  It’s not only cute, it also features the blanket I knitted for the former baby M.  It’s the top middle photo.  Apparently the knitted blanket got a lot of use after the current baby M was born.

As you can see, the former baby M has grown quite a bit since 2013.
