Three sentence movie reviews: Blackhat

blackhat

This is the kind of movie where I feel like I should take up a running program, just in case I become a computer hacker and need to run to escape from assassins.  I was watching this because of that guy on the cover,* and had low expectations, which were met. I was pleased with the fact that the female characters (yes plural!) had stuff to do.

Cost: free from library
Where watched: at home.

*That Ron Howard whale movie has completely disappeared from theaters, which is too bad as I planned some Chris Hemsworth viewing over the break.  This was a handy substitute.

  1. For some reason I thought you’d already seen this. I’ve heard positive buzz about it. Are you on a C. Hemsworth kick now?

    1. My true love is Channing Tatum, but there was a CT lull at one point and so there was a binge of Chris Hemsworth movies watched. I even found the indie flick Ca$h that was his first movie he made after moving to the US. I’m not quite as obsessive about him as CT. For instance, I’m not going to watch Vacation just to wait around to see Mr. Hemsworth. But I have seen nearly all of his movies, if not in the theater, eventually.

You might also recall my Vin Diesel thing? the CT, CH, VD all happened around the same period.
