You may recall that last autumn, I took a class in making underwear. I wanted to draft my own underwear pattern, so I’ve been delayed in making more. But I’ve got the pattern drafted and didn’t get to eat for nearly three days while prepping for a colonoscopy, so that left ample time to sew, sew, sew.
While I sew, I watch/listen to saved YouTube videos. I’ve discovered the Stitchery, whose sense of humor is on point and who has interesting ideas.
Not eating for long periods of time, (plus I took the entire day off today, even though I could have worked from home for the first half) left me time to get this underwear project done!
And here is the “completed” underwear. The pile on the left contains the seven pairs I sewed for this part of the project. The one on the right is from the class I took.
Completed is in quotation marks because I don’t like how bright white the material is (even though I’m the one who bought it), so I will attempt to change the color by dying with black tea.
