Sara’s family took a trip to Glacier, where they ate lunch at this lodge.

She reports that her uncle and sister biked the Going-to-the-Sun Road, and that they family took a loop walk.
As I type the postcard’s words into the title, I see that an apostrophe has gone missing from the card.
Sara calls out the same thing that was my first thought: only sportsMEN?
Sara has gone back to Coeur d’Alene because her father died, and so this Idaho postcard comes to me. She said that the weather was chilly enough to have a fire and for her sister to make potato leek soup, both nice things.
Another fun postcard from the Northern California Blood Bank, complete with post office additional ink.
Sara reports that she is back home and happy to be there, though frustrated with the campus closing due to protests. Her graduating class was mostly made up of the group that had their senior year hijacked by Covid, so they were having flashbacks.
Sara sent these two postcards from the conference she attended. She said she had a good final session that was the perfect closing.
She reported that this postcard was offered at the resort in lieu of an image of the resort itself, which was funny.
I know from text messages that the resort used some selective photo taking in their marketing materials.
Zoe sent me this delightful postcard to make up for not sending me postcards from Texas and Mexico City, where she and Nick visited in December.
She said that they saw the pyramids of Teotihuacan both via hot air balloon and via the ground.
She also let me know that she and Nick decided to get engaged and thanked me for “modeling the long leadup (lol)”
I wondered if this particular duchess was one of the Mitford sisters. Indeed, that was Deborah.
Sara sent this pretty postcard, which the PO mauled a bit.
Books I’ve read in this list: The Evolution of Calpurnia Tate, Harriet the Spy, Pippi Longstocking, Alice In Wonderland, Roller Girl, Anne Frank Diary of a Young Girl, Anne of Green Gables, Beezus and Ramona, The Secret Garden, The Poet X, His Dark Materials, Little Women, Women in Science, Heidi, Matilda, and Island of the Blue Dolphins.
Sara said she got this as part of a set of postcards her mom sent her and that she was excited to send this one to me. Sara said she had read 11 of these books and guessed I had read more. Indeed, I’ve read 16. Aside from the ones I read when I was a kid, I can thank Librarian Book Group for a bunch of these.
