The Library was open on Monday again, so I reverted to my Monday 4-6 time slot. It was a good summer of summer reading. I will volunteer again next year.

Woo hoo! Our library has a similar summer theme this year. We also had our most participants, ever. Pretty sweet!
What do you do as a volunteer for this program?
Excellent question. You don't actually read to children, as most people thing, instead, you sit at a table and wait for children to come in with completed game boards. Then you give them a prize. I love it because I get two hours in the library and when I'm not distributing prizes I'm either reading or taking in the atmosphere of the library, which I love to do.
