Yesterday I read an article that reported on a study that found that teenagers who spend the least amount of time (but not no time) on their smartphones are the happiest, mentally. And that since we’ve crossed over to more than 50% of teenagers having smartphones in 2012 the graph of positive mental health has taken a sharp decline. It seems the more time teenagers spend on their phone, the less happy they are. This is not a surprise to me. But I think it would be hard to deal with as a parent, as so much of their lives are online. How to effectively control/discourage constant online things?
Yay! I love that we watched the first two together. So fun!
Isn’t that the dang truth about high school? I don’t know how kids do it these days & I don’t know how parents raise well adjusted children.
