Astute readers will notice that the postcards of late have been arriving from friends, not from Postcrossing people. I’ve fallen off the Postcrossing horse. It hasn’t been determined yet if I will get back on, or if Postcrossing will be yet another unfortunate casualty of the return to the 40-hour work week.
This marvelous ad card arrived from Hood River, where Laurie (you might know her from the Cosmic Tripster post) and the Valaries were doing a training. It’s an ad card full of stickers! I’ve never seen such a thing.
This came from my mother, who was sending me some paperwork for me to mail. I suspect she must have found this while visiting stores when he friend Linda was in town. I’m familiar with this artist and have sent her postcards to Postcrossers, so it was fun to see it arrive in my mailbox.

This is from Alla. She heard my call for pictures of libraries (it’s listed on my profile) and apologized that she didn’t have a picture of a library, but instead sent this girl reading. But I adore this card, so we’re good.
The stamps are interesting too.

From my friend Sue, who makes amazing ceramics and has a delightful horse named Mabel. If you are around Livingston, Montana and it’s the day of the Kentucky Derby, you should stop by for Sue’s Spring Sale. Afterward, you can soak in the hot springs nearby.
From Maryann who lives in the small town of Dyurtyuli in Russia. She sends me this postcard of Moscow, but has never been there before. That makes two of us! The stamps are fun too!
It’s New Year’s/Easter greetings from regular commentor Sara and occasional commentor Shawn. And I make an appearance on this year’s card! Can you find me? It seems I’m actually on the card twice, but was smeared out by the mailing process. Aside from playing the guitar with Sara, I’m also to the left of Archie the cat on the bottom-middle of the card.
And now we can officially put 2015 to a close!
These cute sleeping cats come via Taiwan from Salty. Salty reports that Taiwan is a beautiful country. I do not doubt that. Interestingly, this postcard came with a plastic sleeve around it. The stamp had been cancelled on the postcard, not the sleeve, so someone went to the trouble to slip off the sleeve, cancel the stamp and then replace the sleeve. I find this very interesting. 
This is from regular commentor Sara who visited the Faribault Woolen Mill Company during her spring break. She had a good time on that trip.
