This postcard was handed to me by my coworker* as a thank you for caring for her cat, Mork.

It came with a drawing of Mork.  Because Zoe is fun that way.

Here’s another one from Sara K.  I always enjoy getting a promotional postcard for a book I’ve read.  It was an enjoyable book, too.

Here’s a fun, old-time-y postcard.  It’s from the usual suspect.  She picked it up in the Charlotte airport on her way home from visiting family for Christmas.

These are really nice Letterpress cards that are going to look great when I switch out the postcards on the wall the next time.

These two arrived in the mail today, from my Minnesota friend who also is regular with the comments.  I knew before I looked at the back that there were more coming.

From my cousin Ron, who is a good traveler.  He visited Israel, bought me a postcard, didn’t have my address, brought it home to Ohio, visited Portland, handed it off to my aunt who handed it off to me!  Good job everyone.  I love this card!

Back when I was doing Postcrossing.com, I would have five or six postcards out.  My return postcards usually came in clumps of at least two, sometimes three. It felt like there was a special area of the post office where the postcards congregated, before joining together for the last part of the journey.

The same thing happened with these postcards, one from my Aunt, one from my friend.

Aunt Pat reports in from Hawaii.   Apparently my Aunt Carol bought a large amount of papaya in the Hilo market.  Also the Kona winds kicked in and the vog lifted.

You know Jan from her regular comments.  She sent me this postcard from a Yves Saint Laurent exhibit she saw at the Seattle Art museum. This is an amazing dress.  Thanks Jan!

My aunts took a trip south, and my Aunt Pat reports that the water was a spectacular blue, reflecting off the three feet of snow that had fallen overnight.

From Sara, who got to attend the second (and probably final) NedCon Stories.  For those in the know, it’s full of DFTBA fun.

This Delta Skymiles card arrived from Sara on a Saturday.  It was mailed so it would arrive after Sara had seen me in person.  That’s right, Sara and Shawn came through town on Wednesday! We had lunch at Oven and Shaker and they headed off to the coast.  Stay tuned.  There will soon be another S&S post.
